RIDGY-DIDGE RISSOLES

Ingredients:

300 g lean beef mince

200 g pork mince

1 small onion, grated or finely chopped

1 Tbs Tasty Meat Sprinkle OR Creole Spice

1 Tbs tomato ketchup

Instructions:

If you can’t get pork mince, use 500 g of beef mince.

Mush all the ingredients up together in a big bowl with your hands.

Then make balls of the mixture and flatten between the palms of your hands so that they end up about 8-10 cm in diameter and about 2 cm thick.

If your hands get too sticky, wet them before making more rissoles.

Place the rissoles on a plate – makes eight.

Heat your barbecue grill and when it’s good and hot, spray the griddle with oil and put the rissoles on.

They will need about 4-5 minutes each side, depending on how hot your barbie is.

You can make burgers with the cooked rissoles, or have them on a plate with sauce and salad.
